What is a Good Father?

I. Good fathers desire to raise wise children

A. Wise children are a joy (10:1; 15:20; 11:29; 17:21)

B. Wise children acquire what they need on their own (10:5; 23:19-21)

C. Wise children act on spiritual truth (13:1; 24:13-14)

D. Wise children avoid the pitfalls of sin (24:21-22; 29:3; 30:17)
