Prov 8:5 O simple ones, learn prudence; Ot fools, learn sense. ESV

Prov 8:5 You who don’t direct your lives, understand caution; as for you, you fools, get some common sense! CJB

II. Wisdom brings good into our lives

        A. Wisdom is worthy of listening to (6-9)

        B. Wisdom’s value exceeds material wealth (10-11)

Matt 6:19  "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. NIV

Heb 11:25 He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time. 26 He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. NIV
