"It's winter in Chicago and it is cold.  Wind chills in the ten to thirty degree below zero range.  People content to go to work and stay home afterwards.  How easy it is for our missionaries to become complacent.  They get the feeling that they are isolated, frozen out from the rest of the world, their calling from God a job rather than a mission.  They become cold-hearted, their gifts in isolation.

 

We all allow ourselves to feel this way.  Along with our missionaries, we need to warm up, to get 'on fire', to use our talents and gifts for God.  We should cling to the joy that comes from being in God' will.  Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can be faithful servants.  God bless!
